Ian and Larissa met in 2005. They were together for 10 months before Larissa and Ian’s family got the call that he had been in an accident. Not knowing much about the situation, they went to see Ian in the hospital. His brain was damaged and left him with little to almost no motor skills. So, Larissa did something very few people might do in the situation: she stayed with Ian and they got married.
