Something very unexpected happened before the opening ceremonies at the Sochi Olympics began. Members of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, The Red Army Choir, perform a rocking rendition of Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” before Friday’s Opening Ceremony.

Turns out, the Police Choir sang this on Russian TV in November 2013 in an attempt to top the Russian Army’s morning talk show performance of Adele’s “Skyfall.” Below is their version from November 2013, complete with a fog machine, flashing lights, and some pretty penetrating eye-contact.
