Android vs. iOS: Which One Is Better for Businesses?

Must read

smartphone

The Android vs. iOS debate is a debate that has been going on for years, and probably one that will continue for the next generation unless another mobile operating system can compete with the pair. One thing is for certain, there is no right or wrong answer but only personal preference when it comes to choosing a handset with either operating system. Yes, both the Android and iOS operating systems both have features that the other doesn’t have, but when you level out those features between them, it’s obvious they are both on the same playing field when it comes to competitiveness. Windows is now available on different handsets, but if you had to compare Android or iOS for business use, what one offers the best features?

iPhone Has More Apps

It is clear app developers have a strong liking for the iOS operating system, which is why most of them only develop apps primarily for iPhone users and then later release to the Android market. This means that there are more apps on the Apple store than there are on the Android and because of this, the iPhone iOS could be the way forward if you are a business that likes to take advantage of the many apps available. With that being said, there are still thousands of apps on the Android market that are yet to show their faces on the iPhone, so again, you could say that both operating systems are on a level playing field.

Android Offers Better Handsets

While this is only the opinion of many reviews online, it’s clear that it’s only the iPhone has the iOS operating system, which means if you do opt for an iOS-based handset, you’ll only be able to get one of the iPhone models. Android offers many more handsets, which means you’ll be able to choose a handset that you are comfortable with, rather than a handset that has all the features but just doesn’t feel right when you’re speaking to someone on the phone!

Is It Easier to Get an iPhone Device Unlocked?

Apple is a bigger brand when compared with the devices based on Android, and while it may not be easier to unlock an iOS-based device, it’s certainly much easier to find an i phone unlocking service down the street than it is finding an Android one. Many unlocking services cater for both operating systems, but if you were to go to an unlocking service that only catered for one of them, you will likely find it is for iPhone models.

Android offers many benefits and features that the iOS operating system doesn’t, but iOS offers many benefits Android doesn’t so you could say it’s one of the hardest choices when it comes to choosing a handset. One of the greatest benefits of preferring the Android OS is that you’ll be able to choose from one of many different handset models and brands on the market, whereas if you prefer the iOS you are limited to a set number of models. In conclusion, if you are looking for a handset for your employees that has everything, the iPhone could be the way forward, but if you are looking for something other than an iPhone, an Android-based phone will not let you down.
