Derrick Coleman is a game away from being in the Super Bowl with his team, The Seattle Seahawks. Seattle is known as the hardest field for visiting teams to play on because of it’s deafening decibel level due to crowd noise and the shell-like construction of the stadium’s roof. However, the noise doesn’t bother Derrick because he reads lips instead of listening for offensive plays. And his disability has done everything but cripple him—it’s simply made him stronger.
