Abu the Flutemaker is the epitome of making something out of nothing. Abu is a local legend in Baltimore, Maryland, and takes the simplest of materials and makes the coolest and most authentic sounding instruments. In this video Abu is playing a saxophone/bass clarinet made entirely out of PVC pipes. This particular instrument is dubbed the “Plumberphone” by Abu, and it sounds absolutely amazing.
“I love it, man!” Abu said in an interview about why he does what he does.
