Gene Shinozaki is not your typical instrumentalist. He’s mastered what is quite possibly the most difficult instrument in the world…his voice. Gene is a beatboxer by trade, and no, it’s not like anything you’ve ever heard before. When I first heard him I thought there was no way his multi-instrumental vocal chords could be real…but it is. He can be found hanging around Boston on the corner of Newbury Street or at a popular train station. He took a genre known as “dubstep” and made it art. It’s amazing.
