Andy’s Attic was started by Lisa Reese after she lost her son Andrew in a car accident. What started in her home as a clothing donation and distribution center has since become the pride and joy of South High Community School. Andy’s Attic “provides new and gently used clothing to disadvantaged high school teenagers in Shrewsbury, Worcester and our neighboring communities. We accept clothing and sneaker donations year round and financial donations are used to purchase items that may be in short supply.”

The service is undoubtedly needed in more ways than just providing clothing. It also helps boost confidence for both the volunteers and the students they help, and their stories will move you to action in your own community.
