Four Great Travel Ideas for After Quarantine

Must read

Wanderlust is at an all-time high, and though the rule to stay indoors still stays in place, for now, there is no reason why you cannot let your heart soar. Travel won’t be barred forever, and travel companies around the world today are accepting bookings for the future. That together makes this the perfect time to plan for a vacation once the world settles back to normality.

Need some inspiration? Look no further than these top five great travel ideas:

1.    Explore Any National Park

People are likely going to flock to national parks once they open up again after all the closures we have seen, but that doesn’t mean you should avoid them entirely. Choose ones that are less well known and instead pick one that will let you stretch your legs and enjoy the fresh air. Camp using your own equipment as well, and you can maintain social distancing recommendations to help keep the local communities safe (just in case).

2.    Explore the Caribbean Islands

If you want hot sand and not a lot of people to worry about, then head to the Caribbean. Sure, some islands are going to be busy, but most won’t be. There are over 7000 islands in total, with many only accessible by a small rental boat. Fly into a lesser-known destination, help the local economy, and don’t forget to rent a boat of your own during that time so that you can explore the more deserted areas to yourself. It’s a great way to enjoy travel without worrying about a big influx of crowds.

3.    Head to Europe

Europe might be under lockdown right now, but they will open up their borders in the future, and once they do, it will be a great time to head on over and explore. Right now, there are plenty of great deals on flights and for cheap long-stay parking through Cheap Airport Parking to help you get over there for a great deal.

If you are still nervous around crowds, then skip the major cities and head to smaller destinations. They’ll be busy, but the crowds will be manageable, and more importantly, you will be able to maintain social distancing measures to keep yourself comfortable.

4.    Enjoy a Cruise

There will likely be more preliminary steps before you get on a cruise considering the chaos that has occurred with their industry (like coronavirus testing for all passengers), but cruises will still be around. If you want fun in the sun, book one now and enjoy great deals.

Tip: If you can, book your cruise with a credit card to ensure your money is refunded if they go under or cancel the booking.

There are so many options open to you once borders are lifted, and restrictions ease. You’ll still want to practice social distancing just in case (we don’t need the world to go back under the veil of the coronavirus), but even when maintaining your distance, there are so many great places to go and things to do, so get started and plan today.
